Devastation

Journal Entry: Fri Mar 11, 2011, 6:23 AM
To our beautiful deviant artist friends in Japan and of the beautiful people of Japan, our thoughts and prayers are with you and for your safety in this catastrophic hour of darkness ... The images being broadcast of your country are heartbreaking .. the devastation is horrendous and it's simply unbelievable.

I ask all my dA friends to please join me in pray for Japan and her people and for all the others, both in Japan and other countries, who in the hours and days to follow will be part of this disaster through tsunamis, search and rescue response teams, the injured, survivors suffering losses, and all who will suffer in this catastrophic event ... and for those who don't pray, please do whatever you do in these times of tragedy.

If relief efforts are offered in your local areas, please do what you are able to do ... blood donations, food, water and clothing donations or whatever your local disaster relief area asks for in the way of donations and help.

We love you Japan ... God bless you.

It just doesn't end there does it? I have friends in southern Tokyo. I've been glued to the news all week.

let us hope it doesn't end there .. that the future holds recovery where devastation has abounded .. i so hope your friends are safe and that if they wish it, that they get out ... i would be afraid to be anywhere there right now cuz of the contamination ... *shivers* i am so horrified by these nuclear plants to begin with and glad i don't live near one.
