Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Sadly I will be alone for this one. Matt had to do a concert he didn't want to do, so I will be live tweeting (humonlazydiva) my impression of the whole shebang.

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you finally made the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean more quality to the paintings, am i right?.
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?
Did you ever thought that painter its hard to handle with new tablet? Too much pressure? If it has more pressure why i cant control more easier the beggining of the stroke which is more crucial?.

Yep .. a bit late i know but it wouldn't be me otherwise

. This is an awesome song from one of my favorite bands from this genre and totally spot on for the day. I'm also featuring pictures of Jesus Christ to go along with the song and the season. And WOW. When I did the search, I was blown away by the number of truly incredible pieces of art I found. I collected for an arbitrarily chosen amount of time, and am featuring an arbitrarily set number of features, along with some stamps. The other collected pieces of art depicting Jesus Christ can be found in my unsorted favorites for now. Hope you enjoy!

*gentle smile* thank you so much .. it was difficult choosing from the huge number of them for the feature and i know that there are so many more out there that i missed and so many that i found that i wasn't able to include in the feature .. but i think these are, from those i found (i had to stop myself eventually!!) are the cream of the crop .. i am so glad someone else found the collection beautiful!
