My state doesn't have a Hate Crimes statute. WTF? What the fuck is up with states that don't have this statute? In my opinion they are Hate States. I can think of no other logical reason for not enacting a statute to prosecute people who commit crimes based solely on hate in a whole different light. If we didn't need this statute, young boys or even older men, and even young girls and older women (although I've not heard it happening, so my hope is that it hasn't and not that I'm just ignorant and don't know), wouldn't be attacked by inbreeds who just don't dislike gay people and go on about their own sorry lives, but rather, they carry a seething hatred ... one that drives them to go in groups of two or more to attack one individual who has done nothing to them but lead his or her life in a manner they choose without seeking the approval or permission of anyone else. Yeah, they go in pairs or more because they are fucking pussys. The same for minorities because of the color of their skin, or the God(s) they pray to, or don't, etc. Because they hate. Their lives are so empty that they have to go out and commit crimes against people they hate to even feel alive. ... the Constitution grants every citizen these basic rights, hell for that matter, they're even granted to visiting non-citizens, so why not put the statute on the books and USE IT. As long as there is no deterrent, it will continue. This rant is about all hate crimes but my focus is gay boys and men because that is the group I am part of and know a little more about .. too much more about ... way way way fucking too much more about. How many young boys have to be tied to a fence in the fucking snow so torn up they're mistaken for scarecrows ONLY because they are GAY? Does every state in the Union have to have this kind of tragedy happen and get an appalled shout out from the majority of its citizens, both straight and gay, before they write up the statute? I say put it to the vote of the people ... The Supreme Court needs to put a hold on some of the baggage they've carried from one Chief Justice's term to the next without solving, and hell, even put the same sex marriage thing on the back burner for this, to impose upon the states to enact a statute to protect its citizens from crimes committed solely on the grounds of hate. Yes, there are statutes that address murder, manslaughter, assault but to commit these crimes for no other reason than you hate something someone else is doing legally or because of who they are is a crime only people without at heart can commit and they need to be dealt with accordingly. And don't go talking about all the other problems, I know about them and agree yes we need to do something about them ... but today this insanity touched people I love and I simply had to vent their cause ... and now as promised ... the anguish stops here and all my thoughts are sweet and sent out to them and to others I love who are in need and he knows who he is too *smiles softly* ............. love and peace
